Well I, for one apparently, hope they reorganize into a lean mean fighting machine that embraces their roots, trim the fat and come back with the true purpose they were founded on, promoting shooting sports and protecting our right under the second amendment.
How it will be done, or even can it be done is topic for debate. To have an already established powerful voice for us, back in the fight would be welcome to me.
But, haters gotta hate and no shortage of noseless people around these days.

That would be nice, but until that happens I have no use for them. That's what happens when you leave people hangout to dry while begging for money.

Would actually be a great ruse, to allow them to think they've ridden the NRA out of town and folded their operation... They would all rejoice and high five each other! And it would be better then to allow the low key, smaller but no less prominent lobbyist work their magic as they've been doing, absent NRA cock blocking of course!

I mean, what would they target next then? They can only talk about the NRA... AND I GUARANTEE YOU, that they effort to classify the NRA as "SUPPORTING TERRORISM" so they can go after their officers, members and more is coming! They, the Obama administration and Clinton too, leading up to the 16' election spoke in small innuendo's on this subject. I believe Clinton actually coming out and saying it directly... That the NRA supported Neo-Nazi White Supremacists!

For the record, I feel ALL lobbying should be outlawed, period! And any politician accepting any gift, even a hotdog for lunch, be punishable by mandatory prison terms!

But that's a pipe dream I know ;)

While I do hate on the NRA, it’s generally directed at the current leadership. The NRA has lost its way under WLP.

I am an NRA instructor and a recruiter. I believe in the core mission of the NRA. I WANT to love the NRA. I WANT to support the NRA. But I also WANT them to focus on fighting for us instead of WLP pissing my money away. And until they demonstrate to me that they are willing to do that, they are dead to me.

Bad news. It undermines the fight to protect the 2A. They're political, ineffective, and wasteful - and are also the biggest and most well recognized organization in the country for gun rights and advocacy. The Liberals who want YOU to give up all your guns - ALL OF THEM, not just scary black ones, are going to take this as far as it can go. With the 47 year parasite in office and the California radical poised to take power as soon as the Alzheimers can't be denied, they will be feeling like nothing can stop them. Well, based on the responses so far, we're so divided that they can't be.

Certainly an altruistic notion but they buried themselves. If they can change the leadership they might stand a chance. If they keep the same hierarchy, they can fail again for all I care.

The bottom line is, I'd like them to succeed because they can be good for the 2A. I do hope they are successful. They'll definitely be getting started without any funding from me though. It'll take some serious proving they've changed for me to get onboard.
