I’ve been seeing my doctor on a yearly basis for the last 5 years. Previous to that it was maybe every 5 or 6 years. During all of that time I have never been asked any of those questions. If or when I do get asked I will obviously answer NO while answering in my head “ that’s none of your fucking business”

True fact. Last time I went to the doctor, they asked me certain questions becuase they received government funding. Questions like what gender do I identify with, am I straight or gay. And so on.

With the input from people here thinking I'm "a bit" paranoid, I've come to the conclusion that perhaps I was looking for a relationship between two independent circumstances that didn't exist, ergo, just a coincidence. How come everyone has a hot nurse but me. At my doc office, the nurses are, well, let's just say Plump. or maybe thick. Not fat or obese. But they are very nice and they ARE competent. And none of them have ever asked me any questions other than whats wrong is physically with me ~~~

Holy crap the last time I had a hot PA do my physical she grabbed my balls so hard they hurt for a few days.

Also it was hilarious when I was getting my vasectomy the nurses and PA were so hot it was like a Victoria secret DRs office. So my wife is sitting there and they are like well let's look at how many tubes you have some only have 1. So my nuts hurt for a very long time(13 months)after my vasectomy so I went back to go get checked out and the PA was smoking and my wife was sitting there. So I'm sitting there my wife is starring at me and this smoking hottie is sitting there playing with my nuts and balls. All I could think was don't pop a chubby. I didn't so I was proud of that. Then I went to get a nut ultrasound and that poor girl must have been her first. I actually felt bad for her. It was quite the comedy show.

There's been a big push to put primary care physicians on the front lines of diagnosing and treating depression. The questions are referred to as "Patient Health Questionnaire 2" for the two question version and ""Patient Health Questionnaire 9" for the nine question version. Depending on the results of the initial two-question screening, the provider may proceed with the nine-question screening.

This is a NATIONAL effort. Some physicians have adopted it, and some have not. Some have done so reluctantly. I suspect those who are saying it's a requirement acknowledge that it can seem invasive and are looking to make the state a scapegoat.

I'd take that over my uro appointments any day. Although, my procedure was relatively uneventful, all the PA's and NP's where I had it done are men.

May I ask what happened with your 13 month post-vasectomy testicular pain? This is exactly why I told my wife I want no vasectomy.

This is my only hold up in getting a vasectomy. I guess the other option is to have the wife get her tubes tied. That's a much more invasive surgery though where a lot more can go wrong. The women's surgery is also way more expensive. I'll probably just get it done.

My wife has asked me to get the ol snip snip for decades. I've always told her NFW. When she asks why i tell her if we ever get divorced I'm going for a newer, younger model and she may not have kids yet.
