They are insane. Our current budget is $240 billion so raising it $40 billion is around a 20% increase to the citizens. This is not only unpopular to run on it will cause people to run out of this state. Add in all the other crap and many more will leave.

Add to this the congestion taxing in NUC and we’re screwed.
Get this I work for the government and they increased the MTA fair in NUC for the subway but NYS and its employees are exempt from it. Funny how that works out isn’t it?
