Little guys get the "crumbs" The unions are as corrupt as the political parties. Unions only protect the scumbags who screw the system and make it bad for the honest workers.. Both political parties are corrupt and screw the little guy one way or another. Republicans were ready to hand over 40% of social security tax to Wall street sharks. What's even worse they lied to the American people it was only 3% by spinning arithmetic. It wasn't 3% of the tax, it was 3 percentage point out of 7 percentage points of tax, which is over 40%.

I know of way too many cases personally where Union pension schemes redistributed a lifetime savings of wealth from many little union member fishes to a few big union leadership fishes that somehow ended up with more money than god. Union leadership is often much greedier and less subtle with their tactics than political leadership.
