This would be fantastic for taking out those pesky chipmunks. They get taken out from my windows. Being bolt action would make it that much more quiet.

I’ve been reading up on this. Really like it a lot. Seems like an excellent application for 300 blackout. Though, I’m a bit unclear as to how it stays in battery since there appears to be no buffer or spring. But then, I’m the greenest of green when it comes to the AR platform.

I wonder if there is any type of spring in there too to assist in closing the bolt.
Why would there be? there isnt on most other bolt action rifles
Because with the side charging handle on an AR platform the slightest bump on the bolt handle would take the gun out of battery. I would think you would want some forward pressure on the BC to keep the locking lugs engaged.

I think this would be a great gun to keep in a backpack or slung in front of you with a jacket over it when not really hunting but rather hiking and a hunting opportunity presents itself. Other than that, I see no use for it.
