ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) -- New York's highest court has ruled that an upstate man wounded in a shooting 16 years ago can't sue the out-of-state seller of the weapon used in the crime.

This is good but sad. 4-3 vote is bullshit. Should've been 7-0 to throw out the case.

This is an amazing result. I am sure all 7 judges on the Court of Appeals — handpicked for their RKBA-views personally by FUAC — thought otherwise. But despite that 4 of them had enough sense to know that it violated “traditional notions of fair play and basic justice” and would be thrown out by the Supreme Court. That’s how the right result was reached.

The suit will fail but all the lawyers and judges will make plenty of money. The people who benefit wrote the rules so don't expect this BS to stop anytime soon without the people bringing back public hangings of the corrupt.
