I was told this evening by a friend that their licensing office personnel is NOT happy regarding the work load with the phones ringing off the hook and people coming in asking questions they don't have answers to. On top of their regular work.
I wonder how many of them are going to quit due to the stress?

tl;dr version - yeah, it's unConstitutional, burdensome and sucks, but increase our budgets and we'll stop griping about enforcing it.

We know the red flag is a load of crap but at the other hand we need to take the lead to see how we can prevent a lunatic to buy (legally) a firearm. I dont think nut cases should be able to drive a car or a bus neither.

Agreed red flag laws could be useful if handled properly but they aren’t. Many instances of people doing and saying crazy things and being allowed to get guns later. The other issue is if my son says something stupid at school my guns get removed??
This is a problem for a few reasons. First I didn’t make the statement so why is my property being removed? Second kids brains aren’t developed so why should they be held legally accountable for saying something stupid and why should I be. Third my guns are all locked up in a safe and no one but me has the combination.

I know is a dilemma. Red flag is an arbitrary BS. But seriously what can we do to keep lunatics like this away not just from guns but anything can hurt them or others.
Do nothing does not fill right.
Also put secured perimeters in schools with armed personal. We do it in airports so why not schools where our kids are right now exposed and in danger.
These initiatives should come from us and take the lead since the left are doing nothing only screwing with peoples rights.

But I also believe in the power of the community (the old village system).

I see that it is the licensing officer Judge, who will have to review the social media records.....he will have to delegate that task unless the State takes that task over.

That is what they desire ... confusion .. Think of how much time it will take to get a permit or renew. ... an everlasting backlog taking perhaps years to accomplish. .. Then have another covid situation hit ..No one can do any checks .. .. If one had rioting across the country how many could ever get ammo if one was low. with the State police doing Ammo backgrounds .... Next step will be quota's on that ammo.. Can see that one coming. ... 50 rounds per gun a month. ... And you need 300 rounds to qualify to recert. ... Not law now folks .... Wait.
