I still have my valid NY permit. Only kept it because it is a TROPHY for me since Westchester County considers it a privilege not a RIGHT.
You would be surprised how many people i have met down here who plan to travel to the NE coast and think they can just "fly in" with their guns.
Many gun owners at least down here are just clueless about NJ and NY laws.

And NY Politicians wonder why anyone would want "National Reciprocity". They don't have a clue what the rest of the country thinks about them nor how Hilary lost. Why, because the rest of the country does not want to be like NY.

New York has absolutely no involvement with the United States Constitution. Not even a passing glance as New York goes on about it's (criminal) business.
I can't understand why the Feds haven't stepped in to help defend US Citizens wrongfully accused in this oppressive, tyrannical State.

I fail to see how this reality is a shock to anyone. Besides, it's NYC and in the final analysis, who gives a rats ass about the 5 Boroughs.
I feel for those who live in the city and have to deal with their oppressive regulations but where you live is where you live, whether its based out of necessity or personal choice. I live Upstate, certainly not a mecca of freedom and liberty but it's no NYC.
Over the years I've traveled to L.I. to partake in exceptional practical shooting matches at the Long Island Practical Shooters Association. Just driving thru NYC with my match gear locked up 50 ways to Sunday gives me the creeps. So much so I just stopped going. Isn't worth the risk.
NYC is beyond salvaging. It's a liberal utopia that eats gun owners alive, even when Rudy ran the joint. Avoid it....just like Chernobyl.

Tell me prey tell what can be done in NYC to end infringement of 2nd Amendment rights ? They elected DiBlasio and they'll REELECT him regardless of how much an object failure he is for the people of NYC. They FORCE Cuomo on us, they OWN just about every cabinet leadership post in State Gov't.
It's easy to say fight back. it's MUCH tougher to list specifics and craft a plan, short or long term, that isn't an exercise in futility.

The southern states just wanted to be left alone. Slavery was not the only problem. The northern states had federal tax law fashioned so it aided the industrial north and harmed the agricultural south. Just like the rest of the country (except for the "progressive" states, the other states wanted the Obama federal govt to just leave them alone. That is why Trump won. But so after the Republic Congress has done nothing for us, yet. We will see.
