NYC assemblywoman slams Sullivan coyote hunt

NEW YORK – The annual coyote hunt set to take place in February in Sullivan County is “a game of glory, designed to satisfy a blood-lust” to kill the wild predators. That assessment comes from State Assemblywoman Linda Rosenthal, a New York City Democrat.

This is the 12th annual coyote hunt sponsored by the Federation of Sportsmen’s Clubs of Sullivan County.

I say lets do away with the coyote hunt for a few years. 3 or 4 years from now when people are getting attacked by coyotes because in the middle of NYC and other big cities in NY because of no population control hunt, then maybe these asshole politicians will say "Well now, I guess that coyote hunt was a good idea after all."
