I'm not listening to this for 80 minutes. If this man was outside on town, state or public property he was within the law. If not, he is fucked. Felony conviction and done.

I've been a NY CCW holder for over 34 years in NY and that Sept, I lost the ability to carry. So did you. Its gone. SCOTUS is useless and they establishment doesn't care. Comply or lose your right. No matter the state you run off to.

This guy is an idiot for even bringing his gun to a large PD funeral. He was well within his right. He didn't go into the church which is a sensitive location and was in the street which is perfectly legal. Still doesn't negate the fact of why be stupid and play with fire?

Loose lips sink ships. Unless I trust you with my life I'm not telling you I'm carrying. I don't have gun stickers on my car for a reason as well. I don't want any attention or random soccer mom to think "hey that guy has a Glock sticker on his car that probably means he has a Glock, wait that's a pistol, I've been told they're scary, And he just walked into my church or school or store. Eeeeek! Report it!!"
Literally want no attention and I usually don't even tell my wife when I'm carrying unless she asks what's taking so long to get ready. (I tend to be more cautious now and really want to feel confident in what I'm wearing... But that's another discussion)

The reported incident makes me wonder about the asshole who did him in, that he may just have the attitude that only cops should be armed. I ran into that with my former Police Chief in my lifelong hometown, and one of his officers who got right in my face screaming at me over my having a CCW. He gave me a raft of shit about how only cops or active duty military should have guns.
The problem, is all problems with the CCIA will need a precedent setting case to make it to court. The high courts can consistently disallowed challenges absent standing! So you must GET FUCKED first, in order to challenge the Constitutionality of the law and eventually win in court.
Is funny how the State, for which the Constitution was intended, not the individual, just does whatever they want. And you, the citizen, who is supposed to be endowed by the creator these self evident Rights, must continually fight for them as they're bastardized and trampled by the State!

There is for SOME of the sensitive locations.
But many of the places are still off limits, including churches.
The TRO is for private property like stores and such.
But "gathering" places are still no good.....church, arenas, parks......
