...and it needs to include pointy objects and such.Need a law suit directly challenging the Sullivan act specifically the part where it makes concealable weapons illegal.
I just sent FPC a few bucks.
For what reason?I heard on a cop forum that the NYC licensing division is substantially increasing the number of personal assigned to it.
I did GOA, but I’ll send some there way now too.I have been and will be much more now that the flood gates have been opened
There will be a whole lot of applications that will need "DENIED" stamped on them. For what reason?
Definitely! Because, NOTHING has changed, and neither will NY Shitty! They will deny, arbitrarily, and eventually PAY BIG BUCKS to settle with those they've INFRINGED upon. That still won't give them the winning the lottery carry permit, but it will give them $$$. NY Shitty earmarks hundreds of millions yearly for lawsuits vs the NYPD. This would be budgeted for... Just sayin! There will be a whole lot of applications that will need "DENIED" stamped on them.
The lawsuits will be what they call an article 78 here. It is a court order for the government to do something rather than for money. Chicago attempted to do the same thing and got destroyed in court. A threat was made by the court to make Chicago a constitutional carry area if they didn’t comply.Definitely! Can’t you file a federal lawsuit for infringement? I’d suppose it would go to the state first. The lawsuits will be what they call an article 78 here. Not for monetary damages. It would be the federal version of an article 78. A court order to compel the local government to comply. Can’t you file a federal lawsuit for infringement? I’d suppose it would go to the state first.
Nope. An article 78 is used when the government decision is in violation of the law or court decision to order the government’s compliance. It’s after they refuse to comply with such an order does the court impose fines etc. An individual lawsuit for money isn’t in the cards . Bruen isn’t making money on his landmark case is he?Sorry, it's not an Art.78 when your RIGHTS have been INFRINGED upon! It's certainly a skip past go!!! Situation... Not appealing a decision for sure.
They already have directive from the HIGHEST court. Acting in any other manner would be infringement, period! What are we appealing then? Oh, wait, we stepped on your dick, so sorry, here's your license!? Well, it doesn't work that way any more. Lol... That was the old days! Hahahaha
Silly cops.I heard on a cop forum that the NYC licensing division is substantially increasing the number of personal assigned to it.
