whats up all? Ok so I know some people are going to come and say it’s impossible to get but I was wondering if anyone here has one or has applied or knows of maybe a lawyer that can help. I have a full carry NYS but I own a small business dealing with real estate but now I want to expand into NYC but don’t want to go naked lol. Will they even acknowledge my application or should I use a lawyer?

So I can get a permit but not carry? Is that what you are saying lmao. I mean it’s for work do they have CCW for working purposes?
I believe you need to reside in NYC to get a NYC Pistol Permit. Not 100% sure on that though.
It's different from upstate where all "Pistol Permits" are CCW (not including premises/business/etc. permits.)
I see they have a limited permit I wonder if I could just get one for when I’m actually working down there. I called and I get 10 different answers

I know my buddy had a NYC unrestricted carry license because he worked in wholesale food distribution(Hunt's Point) and it was all cash. His boss had to show that my friend deposited $10,000.00 cash every day.
I guess I’m out of luck. Maybe I’ll go to the cop bar and make some friends that have some juice hahahha. Thanks for the info

Short of being wealthy, have political connections/best friends with the mayor or police commissioner at most you might be able to get a "business premises" pistol license, no carry outside your business unless you meet the ridiculous proper cause requirement to obtain a "special carry" which is issued to those that reside outside NYC and already have a NYS carry license, and are deemed worthy by NYPD. I remember someone from the "other" forum had a handgun registered on both permits so they can posses the same firearm in their NYC residence and carry that same handgun outside the city.
