The funny thing about lockpicking (and other associated skills).. is that the more you do it, the more you realize how nothing is really secure; which is both interesting and also a little scary. Or perhaps it's more succinct to say that you realize that almost all security is really all within varying levels of what is really security theater.
In the end, padlocks and locks in general are just for honest people...
