I'd like to know some backround on this, he's a sixty year old man..... "believe he's a collector..." I wonder where he's from? Did he just show up in NYC from a free state to take care of his 90y/o mother? Does he have a ahem, "suspicious past"? Lots of questions......

Is there a limit on the nr. of rounds in your city or town?
As far as I know there is no limit by the state so I am not sure what applies on that end.
Perhaps NYC has some ordinances regarding the amount of rounds.
In the tiny 22LR it doesn't take too many brisks to have those many rounds.

I believe NY shittystan has an ordinance that prohibits law abiding citizens (since the criminals never get cited for this) from having ammunition of calibers not listed on their handgun lisence or rifle/shotgun permit. Perhaps someone living in

It was expressed to me last night that it was the UPS guy that dropped dime on the perp based on some packages delivered. UPS guy had called the crimestoppers hotline looking for a $2,500 reward for a gun tip. UPS guy lives in Bushwick and squad from the 81st was first to interview him, hence the connection to the 81st precinct.

No limit here in the boonies, no open container laws either. Can't say I'd really worry about it if there was.
There's some 250rd limit in the fire code, but it's a local ordnance, not an arrest-able crime.
One of the cops in that picture was my Sgt years ago. He's rumored to be a huge racist now, that's all I'll say about him...
Unfortunately for this guy, it looks like many of those guns are clearly illegal in NY and the city. He's screwed. Were the handguns registered at least?

I remember seeing a newscast on TV and they interviewed a few neighbors. I found it funny when the one guy said it was crazy and he had no idea what was going on because the area is so quiet. I guess what the guy was doing wasn't really hurting anyone then eh? These outraged people are so soft it makes me sick.
