It's so poorly written and factually incorrect that I have to question its legitimacy...
There are a good many in Law Enforcement to satisfy the belligerent behavior of a bully, some that use the position for corruption (crime) and others that genuinely are good people...same with the Military, and recruitment numbers are way down with the good ones saying "fuck that nonsense" which causes standards to be lowered resulting in more undesirable candidates being accepted.
I'd much rather Departments (and our Military) be short staffed than staffed by the inept and questionable.

Remember that every LEO has a certain amount of 'discretion' and that these are just guidelines, and nothing more. If I were a LEO, who would you rather have help you out? A regular law-abiding citizen who is very pro-2A, or the catch-and-release crackhead who is trying to steal your gun during a riot and will be released the next day?
I would like to think that everyone else here would help an officer in real distress as long as we can do so without any repercussions from the establishment for doing so (a pipe dream).
