One has to only look back to the 2020 election where Hunter Biden’s laptop was misinformation only for the same group of people to admit under oath in a court of law that it wasn’t. What would happen if say we got flagged for that and punished would that punishment then go away? Yes this is a complete assault on our rights and the rights of private companies but why aren’t they complaining? Why aren’t they suing? One could say well it’s only been a week but they knew this was coming so they should have been up in arms prior to the bill signing.

Since when does proclaiming one's dis-satisfaction with gubment or gubment officials count as hate speech? I'm pretty sure it's still covered by the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

I'm actually curious how this will work. What will the state do when they get a report about hate speech? How will they attempt to punish someone for exercising their 1st ammendment rights?

Nobody should use racist terms to describe others. Nobody should say hateful things about others. The thing is though we have the right to say these things even if the left says it's wrong. We have the freedom to say whatever we want as long as it's not a threat. You can call someone a "bad name". It might not be right and depending what it is it makes you look stupid or ignorant, but it's your right.
