The one that gets me the most "national origin."
As a business owner, I should I 100% be able to discriminate based on whether someone is a US citizen. I'm not sure it's legal to say I cannot. Does that mean if I ask someone if they're authorized to work in the USA, I'm in violation of NYS law? That seems a contradiction of federal policy.

Perhaps I'm wrong and the Democrats in power have prohibited prosecution, but last I knew the Feds would send a SWAT Team to your Business for hiring "illegals" even if the information the employee provided was vetted approved by the check system set up by the Federal Government.

Employers cannot refuse to hire or terminate employees based on their immigration status. It is also unlawful to ask employees about their immigration status or national origin, except as required by federal law.

I’m not sure why we are even talking about this other than to say it has already passed. It will undoubtedly pass and anyone speaking against anyone for any reason will be violating the constitution and possibly be engaged in hate speech. I’m very OK with this. Treating humans as humans expands everybody’s rights. Not sure what folks are scared of here. A good proxy for my thoughts here would be “A Renegade History of the United States” by Thaddeus Russell. In short, he outlines how prostitutes, drunks, slaves, and more afforded everybody more freedoms by championing their own. It’s not a zero sum game.

Just like we support clean air, water, and land but now that it’s in our constitution the politicians will abuse this. Same principles apply here. Now that everyone will have equal rights you won’t be able to disagree with them. Keep in mind the left and their political leaders attack many based on race and gender.
