The Club is being reformed in January under a new name and leadership; Sandy Ackerman has retired, Mark Loveland is to step into the slot.
Unless a new venue can be found for Albany (Previously held in the Empire Plaza Ballroom) that Show is done, and I might have heard they were looking for a different one for the Syracuse Show.
Too bad, We've done those shows >25 years.

True, the ammo backround check is , as planned by the gestapo running this state , a cluster fuck but fortunately so far the firearm backround check is still working good. I bought two firearms since this shit started and both times it sailed right through.

It was just a matter of time that the Syracuse show would have to find a different venue for the two day gun show since the fairgrounds is a state owned facility. Frankly I’m surprised that FUAC didn’t put a stop to it under his reign.

Agreed, but that’s not how the elite view it.
I do not know IF they "lost" the venue or wanted a different place, only heard the conversation that another place was being sought, else there wouldn't be another Show (at the Empire Plaza) It's a very nice place, but a royal pain in the ass to get in/out, security, parking, etc.

Albany .. the place you have to cart all your ammo up ramps to get to the show floor .. that place
I think we're done doing them...maybe the local Show just because a good many of the Patrons are already customers and they get to talk and look at everything.
What wasn't/hasn't been challenged is ammunition being within reach of Show customers, as well as long-guns... In the Shop all the ammo has to be behind glass and or not within customer reach, then there's the Audi/visual requirements, etc.

We have to Park in P-1 then take the Elevators (which are small and not what I'd call a standard size) push the cart across the concourse, take ramps down to which ever level your tables are on, then reverse it on the way out Sunday afternoon... I'll tell you I'm one tired puppy once we've made five trips to and from the Truck. Oh, and a Hotel Room is a good hundred bucks a night, meals ain't cheap either.
Up side: We often sell higher end/priced Guns there as it's a different clientele, and there seems to be a bit more money... Handguns are a waste of time and Table Space as no one wants to drive the three hours up to the Shop from there to pick one up. Don't blame them one bit; I'd want it pretty damn bad to drive three hours each way for a Pistol.
Since you can't even buy a stripped lower to use for a bolt gun or crossbow without having the shiny new "semi-auto permit", there's not really much point even trying anymore.
I hear there are no permits required for milling machines, though.

But Latishia sent threatening letters to everyone that supplies 80% receivers, so none will be shipped to NY... perhaps ammo isn't the only thing that can be bought in PA?
