There is a govt funded apartment complex being built local to me, The focus is to fill it with "artists". The cost of contruction broken down per unit for a 2 beedroom apartment is $250K. I wonder where the rest of the money is going?

This is in an area full of commerce. You will have no houses as your neighbors. Your neighbors will be things like a bank, McDonald’s, delta sonic and other very large retailer. Your roads will be 4 and 6 lane busy streets and tons of lights around. This area is not desirable at all to live in.

They are completely redoing a road down here. 33 miles of complete changes. New path of the road, adding extra lanes, the works. Some property's were bought from the owners to complete this massive expansion.

All said, 85 million for the entire project.

New drainage, new sewers. New curbs and sidewalks. It is an amazing project.

In the Buffalo area, they want to spend one BILLION to cover over, three miles of a shitty road.

That’s insane. Covering the 33 is not comparable to building a road but the money doesn’t need to be spent. They will spend the money on the 33 and nothing will change. Covering the 33 will do nothing except add more space for bodies to drop.

"Affordable" housing. AKA free housing for welfare shits. This place is going to be a dump shortly after it's completed. Would you pay "market rate" to live next to a bunch of slugs in their "affordable" housing? No? Well, I wouldn't either. We already know how this is going to turn out before it even gets started.
