NYS budget effecting guns and lead law??

I was with my son at his shooting club and they were now saying that they may not be able to run the shooting club anymore because there is a new law passed with the budget banning anyone under 12 for shooting or working with lead. They purchased 10 air riffles and are now worried they can’t ised them. Anyone hear about this. I looked on the web and couldn’t find anything.

Also there are non-lead pellets so I don’t know why they were freaking out. Of course I know they bought tons of pellets and there budget is low.

haven't had pellets in years ... but i bet now there made of a zinc mix .. like fishing sinkers and wheel weights ..
bb's are still copper i think .. ..

shouldn't effect the club at all .. and if it does anyone enforcing it should be publicly humiliated FUAC

I think there concern is they just spent $7500 on new guns and they may not be able to use them he was saying. I just caught the end of the story. The guy running the range and a guy that runs a school shooting club we’re discussing strategy. I came over because they looked concerned. That’s why I’m asking if anyone knows of it. I didn’t either.
