They probably figured out it was costing more to go after toll evaders so they had to increase the fines to obtain a financial gain. Funny thing is I know a department of labor person and any unemployment fraud under $10,000 the state refused to pursue because it would cost too much but the $0.05 Colby me they will bother with that?? It’s all about who is committing the offense and not the offense.

Kind of ironic considering the tolls were supposed to go away in 1996 when the Thruway bonds were paid off. Instead they've just gone up. Just more proof that no government will EVER voluntarily cede a source of income once its established. Ever.

Tway tolls have gone up...........................forcing you to have an ez pass.......................I just got one, as they billed me about $60 for a trip, that they say would only cost $24 with ez pass.

Bill even had a pic of my ft license plate.
