I put ceramic brakes on my wife's Volvo one year and had my iPhone on the hood, forgot all about it. You have to heat up ceramic brakes to break them in, so during the various panic braking stops to break them in the phone slid off the hood. On the way back down the road I see an iPhone in the road...hmmm, looks just like mine! Shit, it is! Lifeproof case did it's job. Had tire tracks on it the rest of the time I owned it
