Florida Man arrested with illegal handgun during a traffic stop on the Northway

PRESS RELEASE
SP Queensbury Troopers arrested 30yo Bernard W. Peters of Orlando, FL following a late night traffic stop on the Northway in the Town of Queensbury. Peters was stopped for speeding and a search of his rental vehicle disclosed a loaded 45 caliber handgun. Peters was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana. Also seized was over $4,000.00 in U.S. Currency. Peters was arraigned in the City of Glens Falls court and remanded to the Warren County Jail without bail.

i believe it is assumed that large amounts of cash means you are a drug dealer for the purpose of illegally seizing the cash, even though he won't be charged for selling drugs. The money just *POOF* vanishes.
