I believe this could be a chink in the armor. Not the armor ban law but for gun rights in general. I can see this trickling down to stuff like suppressors and all the other NFA stuff.
It's what the left does.NYS basically said they are going to ignore it.
Only YOU are expected to obey!
In their eyes the court is illegitimate. So they will do all they can. Even if it gets tied up in court, they will do it.If FUKH and NYS feel so strongly about the SCOTUS decision, it’s governmental leadership is free to resign en masse or call for outright secession. Otherwise, they need to accept the ruling.
Now begin?ah,,the abuse of power will now begin…
She will do everything but go after the criminals and keep them in prison. Cunt.
I'm a little late to this party, but my understanding is that these permits, which are essentially asking the government for permission to exercise a Right, are unConstitutional. Both because of today's decision, but also the decision in Heller that citizens can purchase and possess arms for defense. So you will still need a pistol permit to purchase and possess and handgun in NY state and handgun registration is still on the books.
Then Kunty Whorecul should be immediately removed from office.NYS basically said they are going to ignore it.
At a minimum...Then Kunty Whorecul should be immediately removed from office.
This definition of “bear” naturally encompasses public carry. Most gun owners do not wear a holstered pistol at their hip in their bedroom or while sitting at the dinner ta- ble.
Then Kunty Whorecul should be immediately removed from office.
Yes you cunt. I am not going to cede my rights. I won't back down and I will fight back. That's why I love the constitution and the 2nd amendment.Jochul- "“We are not powerless in this situation. We’re not going to cede our rights that easily despite the best efforts of the politicized Supreme Court of the United States of America,” Hochul said. “This is New York. We don’t back down. We fight back.”
That's ok. I'm basically going to ignore them.NYS basically said they are going to ignore it.
"We reiterate that the standard for applying the Second Amendment is as follows: When the Second Amendment’s plain text covers an individual’s conduct, the Constitution presumptively protects that conduct. The government must then justify its regulation by demonstrating that it is consistent with the Nation’s historical tradition of firearm regulation. Only then may a court conclude that the individual’s conduct falls outside the Second Amendment’s “unqualified command.” Konigsberg, 366 U. S., at 50, n. 10."
I suspect this is going to set up a number of additional challenges to other NY laws.
I'm fine with the cunt having a musket.
It says that permits are still ok, but having to prove a need, above and beyond self defense, is unconstitutionalI'm a little late to this party, but my understanding is that these permits, which are essentially asking the government for permission to exercise a Right, are unConstitutional. Both because of today's decision, but also the decision in Heller that citizens can purchase and possess arms for defense.
I'm sure the State will argue against it, but all of these permission schemes they created are all in violation of the 2nd Amendment. The pistol permits, the new semi-auto permits, the neutering of various firearms. Hell, this decision today essentially eliminates NFA requirements. You should not have to beg permission for full-auto or silencers.
