Arrived at my voting location this morning approx. 7:15am. No line, walked in, cast my ballot for Jo, walked out. On the way to work by 7:20.

I vote in very small town hall. They have 1 machine. Normally there are 1 or 2 other people voting while I'm there. Today there were 8 others. I arrived about 35 minutes after they opened (about 6:35 AM) and I cast vote number 41.

I believe that PA will be stolen. The fix is in with their "signatures don't need to match" ruling.
Trump needs an electoral college tally that allows him to win without PA. Otherwise, he's finished.

I think we need to be extra careful making anything of exit polls. They are a vague indicator at the best of times, but with so many early mail in votes they may be particularly useless today.

About 100 people in front of me at 10:00. Only one douche bag without a mask (

At 9:00am I was at the small Church 2 folks walked in in front of me, we all got our voter sheets in and out. But before us there were already 142 votes cast good #'s for a small town so early!

My wife voted on her way to work our usual in and out was 45 min this morning (I voted Friday) The line at the poll next door to the station has been around the building since 6am

Crowd was twice the size as usual. Everyone was wearing masks, and there was a hand sanitizer station by the door. Everyone was using the same pens. I didn't see any sanitizing of pens or surfaces or the ballot folders. Social distancing in the parking lot, but once in the building not so much.
Basically the masks were the only change from other years.

Normally I vote around 7:00am on my way to work. Since I'm working from home mostly these days I waited until around 9:00am, partly to sleep in some and partly to help my mom bring my dad to the polls since he's in a wheel chair these days. We're in a small town (population roughly 3,500) with two polling locations. There was a short line we had to wait in for less than a minute. Got our ballots, did our thing, and were on our way. I was voter 222 (normally I'm in the single digits on a normal year with my normal schedule...kind of like being the early bird but oh well).
Only "issue" I had was the girl who was the poll worker asking for our signatures (with the iPad thing...never had this before) wanted to give me an "I Voted" sticker. I declined and she seemed kind of disappointed. I was half tempted to launch into my spiel that I don't believe in them and see them as participation trophies for adults but I thought better of it. Maybe it was because she was kind of cute. Maybe because my name (Hon. Catskillkid) is behind her and I didn't want to deal with any issues later on but I held back on my usual lecture when someone asks "Why didn't you get a sticker?" (Always reminds me of that scene in Seinfeld where Kramer refuses to wear the AIDS ribbon...but I digress).
And for the record, all three of us voted for Trump and every other Republican or Conservative candidate on the ballot.

Not to be a debbie downer but, women are going to be deciding factor this election. atleast some women i know who voted for trump last election are voting for biden this time. I didn't vote last election, Hopefully my vote neutralizes that vote this time.
My best Friend and his wife who has never voted, also are voting for Trump today, just got a text.

One more quick thought and observation, the GOP will gain at least one seat in the Senate and the House dems will lose a few.

The girlfriend said she got to work at 5am to let the election inspectors in, and there were already 20 people in line. Once they were set up, she got in line and there were an additional 10-15 people in line. Things got a little testy when the inspectors didn't open the doors until about 6:15. She said it was odd to see so many people lined up that early. Took her about 15 minutes, then she walked 20 feet to her office and went back to work.

Got to my normal location at 5:45 this morning, the line was down the sidewalk, around the building, and out into the parking lot. Must have been 150 people. Im gonna have to go back later.

Just got back, small line but a pretty constant flow of people, I was in and out in about 15-20 min. The guy at the door said the line was longer earlier this morning. Only recently started voting and my voting place has been different each of the 3 times I have voted so can't really compare to previous years.

I am thoroughly baffled as to what the outcome will be. Turnout typically doesn't increase and people don't stand in long lines to vote for the status quo. Strike one against trump. Yet it's impossible to reconcile the official polls and the vast difference in enthusiasm between the trump and harris campaigns. That should count in Trump's favor. I have to imagine the vast majority of new gun owners, if they vote, will vote for Trump. That's a few million right there for Trump. However, Trump is a divisive figure - my family is all solidly republican but 3 of my 5 siblings have been very critical of Trump and his tweets. I think 2 of the 3 will stick with Trump but 1 might just go over to the dark side. I am certain this dynamic is being played out all over the country. Definitely the strangest election in my lifetime.
