Donald Trump and Joe Biden clashed in their first debate in Cleveland, Ohio last night.
Wouldn’t have hurt to reiterate that on Tuesday.

What I can promise you based on watching trump for four years is that he's going to not have a substantial change in behavior in debate #2. He may do a touch better but if you're expecting a statesman to emerge and rise above the knee-high shit, it won't be him.

Nobody aboard the Trump train is jumping ship based on a debate. A debate in which almost all news sources say he won and in which a poll of over 300,000 people on twitter said he won by a large margin. I don't think Pres. Trump 'won' the debate, I DO THINK Biden lost the debate.
The problem here is Biden's obvious lies. There are far to many videos of him lying, cheating, plagiarizing and being disrespectful of. literally anyone that disagrees with him. He is simply a name caller. At this level of debate, name calling and being disrespectful make the perpetrator not only look bad, but make him look like an idiot that can't control his emotions in a mildly tight spot.
When Biden called Pres Trump out on calling American Service men and women, "losers and suckers" ( an obvious already disproven lie) Biden went into his fake rage about his son being in the Military. I get it, he's proud of his son and his sons military service and that he died of cancer, but Biden is now using his son as a political prop, and its not a good look. actually, its quite sad.

Has nothing to do with "winning". The mute button is being pushed because Trump couldn't follow the rules that were agreed to by both sides as part of the debate format. It was 2 minutes per person on turn. This 2 minute thing wasn't something that CM threw in on his own, Trump and Biden both agreed to it but Trump wouldn't STFU when it wasn't his turn to talk. I'm of the mind that both sides should have their mic cut when it's not their turn to talk. Want to talk? Follow the rules and wait your turn, stop being an entitled little bitch.

The biggest factor is the twitter poll of 300,000 - 350,000 regular Americans who picked Trump at over 63% as the clear winner. That holds much more weight than someone at MSDNC just saying "he won".

uuum lets not get all pissy here, Biden did his share of interrupting to. And the name calling was really bad, Pres Trump did not call biden any names during the debate. He did say that Biden was not smart enough, but that is NOT name calling.
You may despise the President, BUT he is still the President of the United States. Biden should respect the office of the POTUS. NO ONE, not one politician ever call Obama, just Obama, they always used the full title of PRESIDENT OBAMA.

I agree. Biden was rude as hell. It was entirely inappropriate, and it was not warranted by Trump's behavior.
Trump was just out of control, and appears incapable of following what is actually quite a simple debate format. I've seen kids in high school easily--on their first debate try ever--follow the rules. It's not a high bar.
I do think they should both have their mics cut when they interrupt. Not the occasional thing, but when it's like it was on Tuesday their mics should be cut.
Truly I think both of them were completely embarrassing.

Biden actually started the disrespect right off the bat by his "hey man" right when he walked out. Like him or not you do not address the President as "hey man". Totally disrespectful.
The POTUS can't handle being called "man"? If being called "man" is all it takes to upset you then you're a thin skinned pansy. Anyway, Trump is constantly disrespectful to others, so why give him the courtesy?
Biden did some interrupting too, more reason to have a mute button IMO. If they can't follow the rules willingly, then make it so they can't break the rules. Sad to have to do it, but hey, they made that choice.

now you're just making assumptions, Being rude seems to be part of politics now, being rude is one thing, Biden was completely disrespectful when he started name calling.
Oh yeah, I wasn't a fan of him calling him a clown and whatnot. But saying, "Hey man", isn't really something to get all worked up over.
