I am really excited for this and maybe it sounds weird but for the first time ever, I actually thought about how excited Trump must be and how he must be feeling right now. I tried to put myself in his shoes and felt really excited! I've never done that with an inauguration.

Agreed. To me it was telling, when he arrived into DC today on the air force 757 and came down the stairs, you could notice subtle things that he was genuinely excited and proud. When the air force officer greeted him trump he returned a salute, stopped to talk to him for a minute, and after trump walked away it looked to me as though the officer was genuinely excited and proud. No idea what trump said but it sure seemed respectful and appreciative which is a huge difference from the past 8 years

I think it's true, Trump is a REAL person. Yes, he is super wealthy and is part of that world, but he hasn't lost his roots or appreciation for those that truly run this country and make it great.
