So my son moved to Toledo Ohio and applied for his pistol permit, he put in the paperwork last Friday and received his full concealed carry permit in the mail today. BTW he moved from Nashville TN.

Family in PA got their LTCF in 20 minutes, although the law allows up to 45 days. This is required to carry concealed or to carry loaded in a vehicle. PA has open carry, except for Philadelphia.

So, it takes a week there and I'm waiting 11 months for a frigging phone call. I doubt that only new York had a surge in applications, and in spite of that Ohio is able to process them in no time at all. Fml
It's because New York is so much more dangerous then Ohio I guess? FUAC!!!

It takes longer for me to get the card to pick up my new pistol than for them to get a permit. I hate this f&#king state.
Unpossible. NY says it takes 6-9 months to check a person out to make sure they paid up all of their library cards back when they were in Elementary School!

In 6 years my son will. Be done with high school and I'll have 9 years left until I can retire. At that point I'd like to go to PA. I can deal with the commute for 9 years. Lots of guys here do it.
