IDK I disagree here. If someone wants to make a political statement then it should be protected. I'm assuming this is a public school here. IMO if a student wants to put a blue line flag on their backpack then it should be up to them. People can burn flags so the flag desecration boat sailed a long time ago.

I dont agree with burning the flag but I agree it’s protected. Nearly all speech should be protected unless it could bring direct harm to someone.
This sure is a slippery slope and conservative speech is getting squashed.

My cousin in NC posted on FB that his son was expelled from virtual school because he had a Trump flag on his wall and it was visible by the teacher.

In regards to the Thin Blue Line Flag, I find it funny how many people have very little idea what this flag represents....

The police say it means that they are the line which keeps society from descending into violent chaos. Many others do not see it that way. 1st and 2nd Amendment auditors around the country have become calling it the “Flag of Tyranny” based on the outcome of many of these Rights Audits resulting in arrests for open carriers and trumped up charges for recording police interactions. There even is a website that has done very well selling this merchandise. Who’s right? Probably both.

1st and 2nd Amendment auditors, to me, most are just little losers with nothing better to do. Most act and talk they are experts on the law, but really, they don't know or understand squat.

The Thin Blue Line, simple concept actually...

Citizens are represented above the line. Scum, preps and the criminals are below the line. The Police are the line that separates the evil from the good.

Essentially there are three meanings. The Thin Blue line represents the thin line Police Officers walk daily between life and death. The Thin Blue line represents the police officer role of separating the good from the bad while creating order from chaos. The Thin Blue line on black is a memorial or a connection or memory between Officers killed in the line of Duty and those who continue with their duties in the present.

The Thin Red Line...

Good people above the line, fire is below the line. The Line represents the firemen that hopefully can keep the people safe from the fire.


When firefighters are periled, they place their lives second to those they protect. They are forced to face their own fears and grasp for every ounce of courage to perform the necessary task. “The Thin Red Line of Courage” represents the last ounce of courage firefighters find deep in their blood to conquer their darkest fears in order to save and protect life and property. Auditors have paved the way for open carry and the recording of the police. A Supreme Court case allowing you to record the police is a result from their arrests. If I can now record my police interactions because of their arrests, I wouldn’t say that they are losers. They have actually fought for our rights. More than any modern day servicemen really.

I do have a great deal of sympathy for the cops who are legitimately doing the right thing and have to deal with assholes trying to provoke them.

I was incorrect on SCOTUS cases. But quite a few made it to state supreme courts and circuit courts.

Heros? No. Never said that. But them being out there continually doing it is keeping it from being uncommon to the point where cameras aren’t being grabbed from your hands and cuffs placed on them like previous from you and I. Places that allowed open carry but still arrested you for it are no longer doing it in numbers like before.
