The idea of alcohol prohibition was settled almost a century ago when the Volstead Act was repealed by yet another constitutional amendment. It’s the only amendment that’s been passed, then repealed a short time later. In truth, prohibition was a complete and total disaster.
Luckily, we’ve left that behind. While some faiths take issue with alcohol consumption, that’s generally left to each individual to decide for themselves. Though, admittedly, there’s something to be said about using alcohol to combat some anti-gun arguments.


However, in Ohio, arguments are gearing up to determine whether drinking at home should make use of a firearm illegal.

Anyone know the facts of the case that brought this on? Cops don’t often come into contact with someone solely because they legally own a shotgun within their own home while drinking.

Obviously this specific law shouldn’t apply, but my spidey senses indicate that this encounter was predicated by some initial crime and the intoxicated possession was added on either by the AO or DA.

According to court documents, Clermont County Sheriff’s Office officers responded to the home of Fredrick Weber on February 17, 2018, after his wife called police to report he was intoxicated and in possession of a gun.

Weber told authorities he was wiping down his unloaded shotgun when they arrived.

while having some beers and cleaning his guns he must have told the wife to go do the fkin dishes and pissed her off ..

i would like to hear the full interview with the wife .. was it like ...

was he pointing the gun at you .. no ..
