My fuel oil company charged me 50 cents over diesel fuel price the last time they filled it ... If they were in here next week they would still charge me over $3.50 ... No sense

That episode was from the recent season about a year or so ago (I believe it was the 10th or 11th Season). They sucked not only in quality but were also highly political (the writers apparently don't like conservatives very much).
Watch the original series for some really great television. I grew up in the '90s which was the heyday of The X-Files. It was my favorite show. Seasons 1-5 were some of the best television ever (give or take a few episodes). Seasons 6-7 were ok but a step down in quality. Seasons 8-9 were vey meh for the most part. And the more recent Seasons 10-11 were trash as far as I'm concerned.
