I just had my last hurrah. My annual oil contract for auto delivery ends 3/31. The expiring contract ceiling price is $2.789. I just had the tank topped off with 211 gallons at that ceiling $2.789. I felt like I hit the lottery. Their delivery currently is at $4.339/g. I won on this one. I'll just give it back at the pump 
New contract ceiling price is $5.219/g.
I do have two 275 gallon tanks piggybacked, so I only get deliveries two to three times a year. Next one will probably be September/October. Not looking forward to that fill.

They are blatantly calling for high gas prices and saying they intend on "transitioning" America to EVs.
There's something going on that is keeping them from being afraid of Nov elections. Something we do not yet know about.

November is why I don’t feel it will go to $5.00/gallon.
Above they just said they will possibly buy oil from Iran and I’m sure that means they won’t stop buying it from Russia either. You’re right they are scared to death of November and I feel at this point they will get spanned, but you could be right about record numbers of voters.
