This story is not adding up. From Fox:
"The would-be burglars had "a short exchange of words" with the homeowner's 23-year-old son before he shot them with a rifle"
Thought the son was a teenager. Instead, it was a bunch of teenagers invading the home.
"Some reports indicted the rifle was an AR-15."
'Some' reports? Either it was or it wasn't. It's not really hard to figure out.
"The unnamed shooter has not been charged, and Mahoney said he appeared to be acting in self-defense -- but investigators said more charges could be coming."
Is there something more to this story? Why would they charge the son if he was defending himself? Is Oklahoma another tyrannical State like NY?

Bullet wounds and the placement of the bodies , If some body has 3 entry wounds the back and three exit wounds in the front, and found in the yard , A DA could make a solid case that the man was fleeing the seen after his friends were killed in front of him , You may have a witness or two who saw the shooter put two or three more rounds into the man on the ground.
Im not saying it happened like that at all , just saying there are a lot of different possibilities for why he could be charged.
Shoot don't shoot is a fluid situation that actually changes in split seconds . In this case it sounds like he shouldn't have been charged but then again I don't know all the details yet either.

Sources identified the three teen suspects killed in a burglary attempt in Broken Arrow on Monday.
The Wagoner County Sheriff's Office has not released the names, however sources tell News On 6 they are Max Cook, Jacob Redfearn and Jake Woodruff.
A woman who told authorities she was the getaway driver for the three teens knew the homeowner who shot them, according to court documents.
Elizabeth Rodriguez was in court Tuesday for a first appearance before a judge. Authorities plan to charge Rodriguez, 21, with three counts of first-degree felony murder for her alleged role in the burglary that led to the shooting deaths of three young men.
She was arrested after turning herself in at the Broken Arrow Police Department.

Maybe we should get the legislators to use the MSM definition for an AWB. Any long gun used by a criminal is an AR15. If they want to pass an "AWB" where their definition is "guns used by criminals" then have at it. As long as that means that any gun that wasn't used criminally isn't an "AW".
