I see an AI.
Very sweet bolt gun.
meh, the weight won’t matter much. Sit over looking a ravine and anything from the bottom to the top of the other side is toast. What’s the weight on your international harvester?
My AI comes in at 17 lbs. can’t imagine lugging that around.meh, the weight won’t matter much. Sit over looking a ravine and anything from the bottom to the top of the other side is toast.
Damn, 17 lbs? As a young teen I carried around a British 303 for deer hunting in the northern tier woods that weighed just shy of 10lbs. I thought lugging that puppy around was heavy !My AI comes in at 17 lbs. can’t imagine lugging that around.
I’ve always wanted to put together something like this for years. For the life of me I don’t know why I never did.The International Harvester

Would that be of the JC Higgins varity from Sears Robuck? If it is, I have the FN made version. They were made in the 50s and possibly into the 60s. They are good rifles available for a good deal as they aren't very well known. My son has a Husqvarna bolt action 30-06 Mauser action. Maybe a hundred year old gun. Picked it out for his birthday many many years ago when you could still browse the used gun section in gun stores. He's got good taste.
