Since things are so bad that I can only choose one of each, I still only choose one pistol (Glock 26) so that I can run faster. With the Glock 26, I can procure any light, rifle, or knife from any of you guys who will be running slower if I need it.

You've mentioned your lack of physical fitness before. You sure about the above?

I run 3-5 miles every day. I'll carry a few heavier things to slow me down so we can stick together as a team.

Ruger GP100: Reliable and 38spl or 357 mag were always on the shelf during the panic. 22lr and 9mm were the 1st things to go.
Kershaw or Benchmade: I like them.
Maglite: Double A's or C batteries everywhere.

Ohhhh, I would have a flashlight......I just would use it sparingly.
You can see a candle flame a mile away in pitch black. An LED flashlight can be seen for several miles in the right condition.
I sure wouldnt use a flashlight for night time moving....... Only for necessity.
It doesnt matter anyways.....ill be dying at home unless a natural occurrence pushes me out.....fire, flood, earthquake...

I was leaning towards a .22 rifle due to ammo weight to quantity ratio but a 223 AR will more readily stop threats. Not so good with squirell hunting though.

A fancy 750 lumen flash light won't do you any good after the 1.5 hr battery life has elapsed. C123 batteries are not readily available today. let alone in SHTF.

Our entire country was tamed without the use of a flashlight.
Im sure we could re-tame the country without.

Pistol is a HK VP9SK.

Rifle is an AR with a 14.5in .223 Wylde barrel.

Shotgun is a Mossberg 590A1 18.5” that can accept a choke.

Light is a Streamlight ProTac HL 750 with a Thyrm SwitchBack.

I’m not great with an AR but I’m comfortable behind one and the ability to use .223 and 5.56 is worth it. The pistol is just my current favorite. Easily concealed and a real tack driver with 124gr. The shotgun is just a tank and fun as fuck. You could just club shot to death after you’re out of ammo. As for the light. It’s what I run now and it’s great. Bright enough to do 90% of what I need to outside while not white washing and blinding myself if I had to clear rooms. The SwitchBack just makes using it in your off-hand easier with taking your support hand completely away.

Mine is outfitted to shoot special super heavy bbs. They weight about 52 grains and shoot about 10 times faster than the typical airsoft gun can shoot.

Why these particular items? It's what's within reach when the fur starts to fly that counts. I always have two or three of these within arm's length.
