Oops pistol build

I accidentally ran into a great deal on a para ord frame. Virgin frame which only needed the hammer hole drilled. So I snagged it up. Most likely going to be a suppressed 10mm although I have not firmly decided on the caliber or the suppressed/compensated part of the build. View attachment 186400

Guys he might have a problem and I think am intervention is in order. I propose anyone that goes down to help with this addiction gets to take what they want to help him declutter. Could be a fun trip and do t forget your body armor incase he gets riled up.

On 31 December I decided to step over to the dark side and pay 200 bucks to the ATF to be allowed to own a suppressor. So now the waiting game starts. I figure by my 58th birthday I should be allowed to bring it home. I got a Silencerco 46 which will work on everything I own that it Will screw on. Figure the best use for a suppressor is inside the house so my cats and I don’t have to go deaf if I have to defend them. 10mm is not really the best round to suppress the 45 is better for that, but 10mm sounds so fun.

How difficult is it to get the permission slip from ATF to get a suppressor? I never really looked into it because I was always led to believe it was expensive and difficult to do.

The ATF permission slip isn't as hard as a pistol permit in NY.

It's basically pay the fee, file the paperwork and wait, and wait, and wait.

No references or any of that bullshit.

Takes maybe an hour of actual work, and 6 months to a year of waiting.

I need to do this. Probably go with a 30 cal. It would mostly live on the Grendel. But first, I'll probably SBR that that

Very nice. That 10mm will do great with a suppressor. A modest charge under a 200 or 220 grain bullet will keep you subsonic.
