Opinion thoughts on the tri-star line of shotguns??

I think they're Turkish made clones perhaps?

I'm sure some of them will be decent but there will likely be a higher percentage of defects and manufacturing problems than with a more reputable established manufacturer.

Not with a 50 foot poll. I've yet to watch a review on any Turkish shotgun that lasted more than 50 rounds without a serious malfunction.

If you want a cheap shotgun get a maverick 88. It's the best cheap shotgun out there.

If you can spare a few more $ get a Mossberg 500

I bought the tri star viper youth model in 20 gauge for the wife and daughter to use. Its absolutely beautiful fit and finish and it eats without failure,, so far Id say 300-500 rounds through it. I would have zero issue buying another for myself.

I have two shotguns and one pistol made in Turkey. Zero complaints on all three.

I have 2 shotguns made in Turkey. The "cheaper" one has seen hundreds of rounds and I've had 0 issues. It's scored numerous 25's.
