DSI would have been my last choice if I couldn't get the Kaw Valley barrel or equivalent elsewhere. Luckily I found another online site that will ship to NY. A few years ago DSI tried to get the NY State Police to say that DSI AR's and parts were the only legal choice to buy for the citizens of NY. They may even be the ones responsible for the NY attorney general sending cease and desist letters to other vendors outside of NY. So for that reason, they would be my absolute last choice after all other options failed.
