So, the state says they can't issue licenses, and SCOTUS says they must allow anyone who isn't explicitly prohibited to carry.
All I can conclude is that orange county is now constitutional carry. That's the only way to meet both requirements.

I just hope some judge has the balls to issue an injunction that says:
"since you aren't issuing licenses according to the SCOTUS ruling you can't require people to have them. NY is enjoined from enforcing the relevant parts of PL265 until a compliant licensing scheme is in place".
Bam, if your don't want to issue licenses, then you're constitutional carry until you do.

Depends in how the injunction was worded.
It's possible it could enjoin the whole thing, and NY FFLs would be like AZ FFLs where selling a gun is the same whether it's a pistol or a long gun.

If private individuals or companies operated like this it would be racketeering. The judges refuse to do their jobs, so the sheriff is going to make sure they can't do their jobs. This is how the mob works.

Kathy will not like it. I’ll bet they give us more than she ever planned for if they push it.
I'm worried about what will happen to law-abiding people when those who feel they've been pushed too far decide to start holding these out-of-control politicians personally liable.
I really don't think it will be by using lawsuits.
