That’s a tough pill to swallow at $1,100+. Not for me.Best "Budget" OTF...
Would love to see the stability of those blades once extended?
I have a few G&G Hawk OTF, check them out, I can tell you they are the absolute best and well worth the investment. But they have gotten more popular and accordingly the $ has gone up.
Disclaimer: I am a knife snob, along with my Bourbon! LMAO
Wow, I'm having a hard time forking out the dough for the mini infidel I want.Best "Budget" OTF...

I hear you. That G&G knife is my take home pay for two weeks work.Wow, I'm having a hard time forking out the dough for the mini infidel I want.
Trust me I understand and it was nothing against you at all. In my past life I have spent an embarrassing amount of money on saltwater fish and corals, hence my user name. Everyone has their thing and I just would not spend that on a knife, but that’s me.I understand the choke point of the G&G pricing and it's just gone up. I have an earlier model that wasn't so bad, the 2nd one was a little more.
But you get what you pay for. These are hand fitted and finished, meaning cnc parts but everything is hand fit during assembly. There is ZERO play in that blade when extended. And I mean literally ZERO play! It is their own patented design and is amazing.
It's not a box cutter, or a blade for whittling! It is designed to do what it's supped to do! And it is sharp as hell too.
Bottom line is, like a good firearm, worth it's investment because when I need it, if I would ever, heaven forbid, I KNOW it's going to work, period! I don't have to worry about reliability, or the blade breaking at it's attachment point, not coming out, or half extending, etc. Lol... But they're beauties!
