The sentence in that case, regardless of the guilty plea, is mind boggling. The well respected former law enforcement officer bastard stole 73 firearms while employed as not only as a public servant but as an undersheriff. Then, despite what his lawyer said about him adding them to his personal collection because he did not want to see good guns destroyed, he sold several of the stolen guns. The maximum sentence is what was deserved in my opinion.

I wonder how many folks he ever arrested, if any, for firearms violations!
