Tulsi gabbard had to reverse her position on warrantless surveillance (FISA 702 pre-authorization) in order to have a chance of being confirmed. Remember back a few years ago when the intelligence agencies were outraged that apple wouldn't help them crack the security of a terrorist Iphone? Have you noticed how the intelligence agencies don't seem to be commenting that much anymore? There is a reason. The AI enabled version of the Iphone 16 now allows apple (and therefore the US govt) to know everything that is on your phone - photos, text messages, calls, online viewing history. The key is the AI on your phone takes a snapshot of your screen every x number of seconds and communicates with apple HQ when a request to find certain things is made. It is constant surveillance and it defeats any type of encryption app you have on your phone.
