Again NYS is currently suing Companies 80% lower receivers to nys so why couldn’t they sue for this? Also you buy anything and you’re subject to NYS taxes so clearly it was settled that if you buy something on-line it’s ruled that you’re buying it where you’re located and that’s NYS.Does the 1959 date on my NRA Junior patch suggest a new gun owner? What were you doing in 1959? My State Senator is Dan Stec, probably the most pro-gun member in the state legislature, & I'm on his mailing list.
What I haven't read here is any report of a test case of this restriction, or any competent legal analysis of how it can be enforced out of state. If you can refer me to one, I'd like to read it.
You also fail to realize nothing needs to be valid to sue someone. You could give me your name today and tomorrow I could file a lawsuit against you that is complete bullshit and you would have to pay a lawyer to defend yourself. Ask PA Guns and Ammo how many $10,000’s of thousands of dollars he has sitting around to defend himself for this lawsuit? Now ask him how many $10,000’s of thousands he makes a year off selling ammo to NYS. Anyway you cut it regardless of how legally sound it is this lawsuit would be allowed to precede and cost a fortune to any gun seller. Also it would bankrupt most gun sellers so your argument is null and void unless we have some one willing to challenge it and spend a few hundred thousand dollars.
