UBURN — A 32-year-old Owasco man who was arrested in May for building 'nearly untraceable' weapons with parts he ordered through the mail pleaded guilty Tuesday to two felonies.
Following a three-month investigation, members of multiple law enforcement agencies found handguns, rifles and high capacity ammunition magazines inside Anthony Ranauro's residence at 7133 Owasco Road.
Police said at the time that some of the firearm parts were nearly impossible to trace because they didn't have serial numbers.

The Cayuga County Sheriff's Office and Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, as well as a member of the New York State Police, conducted the initial interview with Ranauro when the items were found on May 10.
He was also investigated last spring for allegedly placing orders to an international company for fake identification documents.

"nearly untraceable" and "high capacity magazines"... so they mean an 80% which to my knowledge is 100% legal as deemed by the ATF and standard capacity magazines in true America. I love all of these made-up terminologies which has since passed into the vernacular because of uneducated liberals.

They have to push the term "traceable" for agenda purposes and to make it sound relevant. How often does a traceable gun prevent the crime, it doesn't the crime has already been committed. Traceable proves it was bought through a government taxable process Or bought from a fellow criminal who stole it, who wouldn't have it in his name to begin with ... the only legitimate reason for a serial number is for recalls or to return property to a rightful owner. When the hell does that ever happen with guns.

Ranauro was arraigned at Owasco Town Court by Judge Mark DiVietro and remanded to Cayuga County Jail in lieu of $6,000 cash or $12,000 bond. He is scheduled to reappear in Owasco Town Court June 10. - You can rape a woman, rob a bank multiple times or be a pedophile and you are released without bail. He attempted to purchase some bullshit on an International website. Most certainly customs alerted someone about a "know" shipper with "suspect" materials being imported into the U.S. for additional follow up.

Doesn't say if he purchased the firearms parts internationally either. Another not too smart choice if that's what he did.

Otherwise all else fails... He could be building a pistol, and he can place his own serial # upon it when complete and he's submitting paperwork to attach it to his license. I'm not aware of any requirement to apply and recieve approval of any kind for a serial # to be registered before manufacturing a firearm for personal use.

Doesn't say what two felonies, but I'll assume the importation of firearms and the high capacity mag... All nothing to do with the actual so called ghost gun, although the article will make you think that. Buy online all you want, just be smart about it

This terminology is right up there with; 'MASS SHOOTING' (instead of mass murder!!), or, 'SHOOTER' (instead of MURDERER!!). They don't ever use the phrases; 'MASS STABBING', or 'STABBER'!! They refer to those as; 'ATTACKS', and 'ATTACKER'! But, once there is any firearm involved the terminology changes, to keep the sheeple fired up!!

Life is so much different down here, we can sell, or trade our personally owned firearms to any person who is not a restricted person (felon, etc.!!).
There is no gun registration down here, nothing gets recorded on a CC permit. I've done numerous trade, deals, etc. with Buddies down here.

Unfortunate he plead guilty but I understand when the state says plead to 3 or we will give you thirty, another clear violation of human rights . But hey police are here to keep you safe from these monsters , right?
