I think the grip modules are the same for either slide

The p320 comes in several barrel lengths .... carry, compact or full size. Each length comes with different grip size ( small, medium and large). Not to confuse things even more, the P320 also comes in different calibers and several different models (safety or nonsaftey).

Look at a picture of an M18 and M17. Same grip. It's a full size.
2 different slide lengths. The grip sizes you are referring to as in small, medium and large are the physical size of the grip foe different sized hands. Nothing to do with the length of the slide. The grip modules that are smaller are for the sub compact.
