True. But the end goal of lockpicking is to not destroy the lock and leave no evidence the lock was bypassed. Well to me anyways.

All you need is a decent bolt cutter. No matter how many pins, don't need to pick when a lock can be cut.

A great many places a Padlock is used, it is far easier to simply cut off the Door Hinges or Hasp.

For many places a crummy lock is just fine. Even a MasterLock will keep the lazy, the stupid, and the drunk out.

Have a lock that gets dirt in it on occasion . Key will not turn right now ... Will have to try the hammer thing ...

Heat a lock with a handheld torch...20-30 bucks at most then hit it with a hammer. Works everytime!
