Where is the outcry to ban alcohol? Gun deaths pale in comparison to alcohol related,, and this is just vehicular. How many were children? Teens? Think of all the lives we'd save banning ALL alcohol.

Ah, but all that lost revenue if it happened. Unfortunately will never happen. Sin taxes are worth too much to every state. It's the same reason why NYS added high taxes to vaping products. They weren't bringing revenue like tobacco does. They truly don't give a flying s×it about thier constituents as cash is king.

While I'm not old enough to have experienced prohibition, I've seen plenty of evidence as to the reaction of the general public once implemented. Created a whole new industry and plenty of well paying jobs if I'm correct. Even created a once large auto racing industry that remains popular in this country still today.....or at least until libtards locked it down enough to pretty much wipe it out.

I agree prohibition didn't work. And on top of that...look at prescription drugs vs illegal drugs...gun control vs gang bangers/criminals...all this crap affects is the law abiding citizen who won't sacrifice their stature(whatever it is..big or small) and they comply. That is what they want..compliance from the law abiding citizen and they can get a "cut" deal form the bangers and criminals. Take away the guns and it will be a field day on the middle class and lower wealthy people and the dems will denounce it: but will profit greatly. My 2 cents
