So let me get this straight... Facebook etc. ban some users due to the content of their posts (which is Facebook's right to do so) so another platform that is OK with carrying said content pops up and now they are whining about it? They can go get bent, that's literally how the system is supposed to work. If you don't like the rules of a service provider you are free to go elsewhere or start your own. While it's true that nobody owes you carriage of your content, it's also true that you are free to go to another carrier if you wish (barring some legal exclusivity contract or something similar).

It's parlez when utilizing the vous (formal you, or plural you) pronoun, parler is the infinitive verb "to speak"
Tom Gresham keeps pronouncing it like parlor and it makes me cringe. Maybe it shouldn't, but knowing how it should be pronounced, it does. I think the creators should have considered the demographic their platform is targeted toward. Not too many of us wanna use the term "parlay". Just sounds kinda, well, femmy.

Parler is is the french verb "to speak". As in "parlez vous francais ?" which means "do you speak french ?"
M'aider is french for "help me" and we get the international distress call "mayday" from that.
It seems crazy today, but the French were once a superpower and exported language and culture as much as we do.
