Equally likely. No such thing as an accidental discharge unless firearm faulty (extremely unlikely).

He broke several basic firearms safety protocols:
1. Pointed gun at something he did not intend to shoot.
2. Finger on trigger.
3. PULLED THE FUCKING TRIGGER!
a perfect learning experience. Do not break the firearm’s rules.
I hope it hurts. I image he wont do it again. It is a Self correcting problem.

Discharging a firearm is not one of them!
It takes willful intent and a sequence of actions, bypassing that which is purposely designed to prevent the discharge (unintentional) in first place! So no... No accident, not even close!

Multiple law enforcement agencies use the facility, the goal would be to close it too the public, that would require a civilian mishap. The revenue from that park keeps multiple parks open in the area, they would need to find funds to fill the void.

Beat me to it. The libs running westchester government don’t give a damn about losing that revenue. They’ll just tax everyone somewhere else and end up with more. Then they’ll get re-elected next cycle and raise taxes again.
