PCC scope and trigger questions

on my arm platforms I run vortex scopes. They're great reliable etc... As you know

Two questions:

1- my Ar9 build obviously isn't for distance I was thinking of something that smaller like a vortex venom or something like that. Is that too low for my eye line do I need something while small but with a little height. I'm using a PDW Viper stock system

2- any Ar9 triggers you guys reccomend?

I would think that a red dot would suit best.
Holosun has some great value priced optics too.
You might also consider a low powered prism scope too, a 1.5 or 2.5x. I couldn't find it online just now but I could have sworn Primary Arms had a 2.5 prism optic with their popular ACSS reticle with a 9mm calibrated BDC. As for the mount height, there are mounts available to put it wherever you want. Most common is the medium height that allows a full cowitness with iron sights or a high mount that has a lower 1/3 cowitness. These being based on AR top rail dimensions.
